Craft stores your content in the Entries section of the control panel. You can get there by clicking Entries in the sidebar. Content is then divided into sub-sections depending on how your site is set up such as pages, blog articles and navigation.
There are three types of sections in Craft:
Singles
One-off pages that have a specific purpose, require a specific URL, and often are displayed in their own unique page template. Singles can only be created by a developer, but they can be edited by content editors.
Channels
Channels are date-based entries like news articles and cannot be re-ordered manually (unless you change the Post Date). Newest entries appear at the top.
Structures
Structures is the most common section type. Entries here can be rearranged by clicking and dragging them to create nested entries, like sub-pages.
If you’re looking at a Structure, you can either show entries by their Structure order including levels (indented), or in a list view, ordered by anything you like.
Structure View
To show entries in Structure view, in the bar across the top of Entries, click the dark icon below.
List View
To show entries in List view so they can be ordered by other fields, in the bar across the top of Entries, click the dark icon below.
If you want to change how entries are ordered in the control panel, you can click the “View” button in the top right of the Entries section.
You can choose which columns are shown using the “View” dropdown on the right, in the top section of the Entries page
You can restore the view to how the developer originally set it up by clicking “Use defaults” in the bottom left
You can search for entries in the section you're looking at by typing in the search bar at the top.
You can filter entries by clicking the funnel icon inside the search bar
You can also filter entries by status using the "All" dropdown and selecting the status you want to show, like only entries that are live.
You can create Entries from the Entries section by clicking on the red New entry button in the top right.
When you click that button, a new entry will be created in the section you're currently looking at. Alternatively, you can click the down arrow icon to the right of the button to select the section in which to create the new entry.
To edit an entry, simply click on its title in the control panel.
